Stanley F. Ehrlich
I started my financial planning and asset management practice in Clinton, NJ, in 1996. I strive to develop a personal relationship with each of my clients and then jointly prepare an investment program that suits their goals and temperament.
My undergraduate degree is from Syracuse University in Economics, and I have a Master of Arts from John Jay College and a Master of Public Administration from New York University. I also completed my doctoral coursework at New York University with a concentration in finance.
I taught for 11 years at Raritan Valley Community College, and one year as an adjunct at The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College). I also served as a contributing editor and columnist for three Reed Business Communication publications, writing articles and columns on personal finance. I currently write a column for fellow advisors in the NAPFA Advisor, the national publication of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
I joined NAPFA, the pre-eminent fee-only financial planning association, in 1997. I served for four years on NAPFA's Northeast-MidAtlantic Regional Board of Directors, including two years as Treasurer, and chaired the 2007 Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional conference in Hartford, CT.
After raising a family for 30 years in Union Township, Hunterdon County, I reside in Westfield with my wife, Pearl, a retired inclusive education teacher. We have three daughters and six grandchildren.
